Our Story: Transforming mental healthcare
Colorado Therapy and Counseling opened in May, 2024. Emma Phipps, MA LPC NCC LSC who is the owner and primary therapist has over 14 years of experience in the field of mental health and has a passion for helping her clients reach their goals. After working in non-profit entities, school districts, and multidisciplinary clinics, Emma has gained invaluable experience to begin her own mental health practice dedicated to bringing accessible mental health care to individuals across Colorado.

Our rates
Individual therapy
Online or in-person, this is designated for individuals to process and explore their thoughts as well as gain knowledge and insight. Typically, meetings are weekly or bi-weekly.

Online or in-person, this time will be spent evaluating your interests and goals for life after high school as well as proving hands on support with the college application process. 5-10 sessions recommended depending on needs.

Career Counseling
Online or in-person, these sessions will help you explore career opportunities that match your interests, passions, and personality. Further support will include developing a plan to achieve professional goals, support with job applications, cover letters, and interviews. 5-10 sessions recommended depending on needs.

Parent Coaching
Online or in-person, this session will help you gain parenting tools and strategies to use to transform behavior in your child and/or teenager as well as bring your family closer.

We are currently in-network with: Aetna, Cigna, Anthem/Blue Cross Blue Shield, NY State Empire Plan, Emblem Non-HMO network, Anthem DBA Unicare Commercial, Providence Land Partners Commercial, and coming soon: United Healthcare!
The above plans are applicable for individual therapy and parent coaching only (insurance will not cover college and career counseling).
We also offer a competitive private pay rate, and can support with out-of-network benefits (which could actually save you up to 50-70% of the private pay rate). Further, we also provide superbills that can be submitted to insurance for reimbursement.
